We have made a ground breaking discovery! The small seismic tremors, that are ever present as background noise in the earth, are from a 100 to a 1000 times greater than the minute movement of the speaker cone when reproducing fine detail.  With spike mounted speakers, these vibrations are superimposed upon the audio signal masking the all-important minute elements which make the sound real. When the speakers are mounted on Townshend Seismic Isolation platforms, the unwanted noise is prevented from entering the speaker. The resultant improvement is not subtle; it works everywhere, on every speaker, all the time.
