At Townshend Audio, we craft bespoke audio equipment tailored to your specifications. Our goal is to ship your order as swiftly as possible once it’s ready. Below are the details of our shipping process, costs, and delivery timelines.

Shipping Process

Bespoke Manufacturing: As our products are made to order, manufacturing times may vary depending on your requirements. We’ll endeavor to complete production promptly and ship your order the same day it’s ready. If extended manufacturing time is needed, we’ll notify you with an estimated completion date.
Out-of-Stock Items: If a component is unavailable, we’ll contact you with an updated delivery estimate.
Shipping Provider: All orders are shipped via DHL, with costs calculated dynamically through our website’s DHL plugin at checkout. Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number.

Shipping Costs and Delivery Times (UK)

Standard Delivery: £3.95
- Fully tracked, 3–5 working days from dispatch.
Next Day Delivery: £15
- Fully tracked, next working day if ordered before 3pm (Monday–Friday). Orders after 3pm ship the next working day.
Saturday Delivery: £35
- Fully tracked, delivered Saturday if ordered before 12pm Friday.
Pre-9am Delivery: £35
- Fully tracked, delivered before 9am on the next working day (order before 3pm, Monday–Friday).
Large Items (e.g., Speakers): £15
- Fully tracked via DHL, 3–5 working days from dispatch.

UK Delivery Timelines

Weekdays (Monday–Thursday):
- Next Day (£15): Order by 3pm for delivery the next working day. After 3pm, ships the following day.
- Standard (£3.95): Ships within 3–5 working days from dispatch.
Friday After 3pm & Weekends:
- Next Day (£15): Ships Monday for Tuesday delivery.
- Saturday (£35): Order by 12pm Friday for Saturday delivery.
- Standard (£3.95): Ships Monday or Tuesday, arriving within 3–5 working days from dispatch.
Bank Holidays: Orders ship the next working day.
Weekends: No shipping occurs from Friday 3pm to Monday 9am.

Standard Delivery: £3.95 (3–4 working days)
Express Delivery: £15 (1–2 working days)
Large Items: £35 via DHL Express

Shipping to Channel Islands

Standard Delivery: £3.95 (3–4 working days)

Standard Delivery: £16.99 (Royal Mail, 14–21 days)

Large Items: £50 via DHL Express (additional costs may apply, we’ll notify you)

Worldwide Shipping

DHL Express: £40 (5 working days)

Import Duty & VAT

International Orders: Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees in their country. Delivery may be delayed at customs, beyond our control. All shipments are tracked and signed for where possible.

Important Notes

Next Day Delivery: While we strive for timely shipping, bespoke production may delay dispatch. Please avoid scheduling critical events (e.g., installations) based solely on estimated delivery dates.
Tracking: All orders are fully trackable via DHL. You’ll receive a tracking link once shipped.

We will provide a DHL docket via email for any returns, you will need to print these to hand to DHL
